Game Guidelines
Coaches should always use good judgement and common sense when coaching their team and dealing with
parents on the sidelines. If you have questions about coaching, player or parent issues, or other soccer
related questions, please direct them to your club director or the appropriate PYSL board member. You can locate their phone number and email on
the Contacts page. Take a few minutes to review the PYSL game guildelines and rules:
- Games without a Referee will NOT be rescheduled.
- U10-U14 Coaches shall resolve how to ref the game in the event no referee shows up (e.g. each coach refs a
half, ask knowledgeable parents to ref, phone refs they know who may be available, etc...).
- A game must be played no later than 10 minutes past the scheduled game time.
- For the good of the game, be as fair as possible and keep it safe for all.
- Refer to the rules for your age group under the Documents section at the bottom of this page.
The Division 4 HOME team is responsible for suppling the game card. Print your team information clearly, sign it on the HOME team section, and have the Visiting coach do the same.
The card should be ready to hand to the Referee before the scheduled start time.
You can print out your team player list on the Team Setup Card page and paste it on the card.
